“Fraud in Fashion: What E-Retailers Need to Know” - Fashion Digital LA

The ClearSale US team is very excited to announce that we will be bringing our merchant solutions to the premiere fashion and technology show, Fashion Digital Los Angeles, taking place May 9-10 at the W Hollywood Hotel. At the show, we will present a session on the growing industry problem of e-commerce fraud and how to prevent it. The session, called “Fraud in Fashion: What E-Retailers Need to Know” will cover card-not-present fraud, including friendly fraud, and the costs of excessive false transaction declines that harm retailers’ customer-retention efforts.

ClearSale’s VP of US Operations, Rafael Lourenco, will educate attendees on chargebacks and fraud levels, as well as demonstrate how merchants can leverage outsourced fraud protection for sales growth. He will present a case study of global contact lens retailer Parana Lentes, who utilized ClearSale to protect their global transactions and as a result, achieve major growth in sales and distribution. The session is open to the 500-plus fashion, beauty, and lifestyle e-commerce professionals slated to attend FDLA this year.
